FAQs

What can I expect during a guided walk or paddling experience?

Each experience is a guided, mindful time in nature designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and recharge. Whether on a forest trail or out on the water, sessions may include gentle reflection prompts, moments of silence, and a simple creative or grounding activity to close the experience.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, weather-appropriate layers, water, and suitable footwear for outdoor movement. For water sessions, you may also want a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes. Equipment is included for private paddling sessions, while participants joining group water experiences are asked to bring their own kayak or paddleboard equipment.

Is this a group or private experience?

We offer both. You can join a group experience or book a more personalized private experience.

Do I need to be in good physical shape?

Not at all. Our experiences are slow-paced and accessible. The focus is on presence, not performance. You’re always encourage to go at your own rythm.

What if the weather is bad?

We embrace most weather conditions, as nature offers a different kind of beauty in every moment. Light rain, in particular, can make nature feel especially calm, soothing, and grounding. In case of unsafe or extreme weather, the session may be rescheduled.

Is this therapy?

This is not therapy, but a wellness-focused experience designed to support relaxation, mindfullness, and connection with nature.

What is shinrin-yoku? Why practice?

Known as forest bathing or forest therapy, shinrin-yoku is a Japanese concept that bridges humans to the natural world. Shinrin-yoku is a slow experience of being present in nature while exercising our five senses. Shinrin-yoku heals us by decreasing anxiety, strengthening our immune system, reducing blood pressure, wallowing our nervous system to reset itself. It also can increase one's energy, inspire focus, spark creativity, and aid in problem-solving.

Are the activities mandatory?

Never. Everything is an invitation. You’re free to participate in what feels right for you.
